Nepali Lok Katha Sangalo (Japanese)

Japanese translation of this book--the second from the Ratna Folklore Series was undertaken to translate the stories contained within were collected by Mr. Ram Bikram Sijapati from various places throughout Nepal. The title of the original book published in 1980 in Nepali language was Nepali Lokkatha Sangalo. The stories cover a wide range of characters including; ogres, flying beds, fate-dealing deities and fighting siblings, and as standard fare, an array of ukhan (Nepali sayings or proverbs) that are guaranteed to enlighten while entertain the reader on various topics.
